My name is Bakanja Kamau and I am a passionate freelance illustrator based in Nairobi, Kenya.

I have a passion for beauty and its incredible way of lighting up the faces of all those who come into contact with it. How it ignites in one's heart a craving for so much more.

I've always had a deep love for animals and it led to me doing hundreds of drawings of animals from a very young age. As the years went by, I found that another one of my greatest joys was in the creation process and bringing scenes that I imagine especially in stories to life.

Being born in a country so rich in life, I often find myself in one National Park or another watching the magnificent beasts that roam our Planet.
